In Dr. Tirabassi’s final chapter of her dissertation, A Call To Burdened Leaders to Pray Alone, Alongside…Until, Becky suggests that it is critical, at those junctures when the answer to your intercessory prayer has still not come, to review the lives of historical or biblical leaders burdened with similar challenges. Through them, you will see how they displayed perseverance and courage in the face of their adversaries to sustain their God-given assignment alongside other like-minded
believers. And finally, to remember, there is no special secret to perseverance in prayer other than to keep praying, stay the course, and stand firm until God answers. And above all, be the persevering prayer leader in your sphere of influence.

 We hope you're enjoying Becky's dissertation. A Burden of Leaders Called to Prayer Alone Alongside Until. If you've been following along, we have now entered part two of chapter six, which is titled A Scriptural View of a Burdened Leader's Life of Prayer.
Based on the person, the governmental employee named Nehemiah in the Bible, which an Old Testament book is named after him, as well as his accomplice Ezra, the priest. Becky thinks you'll thoroughly enjoy the Scriptural presentation or view that she has applied to her dissertation. As we begin, she wants you to put yourself in this story because so much of this chapter six, A Scriptural View of a Burden Leader's Life of Prayer is based on Nehemiah and Ezra putting yourself in their story. Join Dr. Becky as she continues in her dissertation with Chapter 6: A Scriptural View of a Burdened Leader's Life of Prayer. Scripture provides numerous examples of burden leaders who engage in and rely on the same three traits as prescribed in this dissertation- personal, intercessory, and persevering prayer- to overcome outsmart and outlast their opposition. Importantly, their lives demonstrate to today's leaders that when burden leaders pray, it is not simply theoretical. Prayer releases a divinely imbued agent of change that, over time- and sometimes, even immediately- effectively transforms a situation, person, culture, community or country, thus, pointing to God is the reason for success against their relentless and fierce enemies.
